Dr. Dmitry Baron
Board-certified Periodontist
Dr. Baron is a native of New Jersey and grew up in Aberdeen. He received his Dental Degree from New York University and completed his specialty training in Periodontics with the Army. He proudly served our country at home and abroad for 13 years, achieving rank of Lieutenant Colonel and Chief of Periodontics. In the spring of 2023 he and his family relocated to Brandon, FL and continues to serve in the Army Reserves.
Dr. Dmitry is board-certified with the American Board of Periodontology. He has shared his dental knowledge, research, and clinical experience, both as a local speaker and a published author in professional journals.
Dr. Baron enjoys spending time with his wife, Elisabeth, and their five energetic children. His interests include biking, traveling, and serving at his local church.
Dr. Mark D. Mellman
Periodontist
Dr. Mellman is a native of Ohio and grew up in Dayton. He has practiced Periodontics exclusively since 1985 and in Brandon since 1987. He is a caring and competent professional with a passion about offering and providing the best options to his patient's problems in a team approach with their general dentist. To keep abreast of the latest developments in periodontics, he attends numerous courses, always exceeding the continuing education requirements in the State of Florida.
Dr. Mellman and his wife Cindy have two children and African Gray parrot named Buckeye. Aaron, 26 yo, graduated from UCF and is a pilot in the Air Force. Alissa, 22 yo, recently graduated from UCF with a degree in media production/minor in digital media. In his free time, he enjoys time with his family, tennis, fitness, outdoor activities and home improvements.
